Schmuck+ Reuchlin

The exhibition in Pforzheim will be more than just a sales event.

In cooperation with the Altes Schlachthof Pforzheim, “Schmuck+” will begin its second round on the first weekend of July 2022. Thanks to additional collaboration with the Musikerinitiative Pforzheim und Enzkreis e.V., this year’s visitors can look forward to an exciting musical supporting program.
The organizers Stefanie Priessnitz, Regina Rieber, Kerstin Mayer, Sabine Hauss and Jens Alemann write: “We, the jewelry section in the Pforzheimer Kulturrat e.V., are not only planning a sales event, but also a variety of timely events on current topics. We strive to network jewelry artists with creators of culture, nationally and internationally, as well as with local the population. We want the topic of jewelry to come alive again in the city of Pforzheim.”
It all begins at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 2, 2022 with the Mayor for Culture Sibylle Schüssler and 42 selected jewelry designers. A diverse range of jewelry, design and objects of everyday culture will again be on display.

Saturday
11 a.m. to 12 noon: Barbara Noeldeke – cello
2 to 4 p.m.: TonArt Choir
From 5 p.m.: musical chill-out

Sunday
11 a.m. to 12 noon: Jochen Feucht – solo saxophone

This year’s event is dedicated to Johannes Reuchlin (1455-1522). Along with Erasmus of Rotterdam, Reuchlin is regarded as the most important humanist of the Renaissance. The exhibitors at “Schmuck+ Reuchlin” were invited to create an object or piece of jewelry on the theme of Reuchlin. Everyone is very curious to see what they’ve created!
