Everything revolves around pearls in Stefanie Prießnitz’s necklaces – sometimes strung to form a sleek row, sometimes playfully arranged into decorative elements highlighting their wearer’s décolleté. These supple necklaces can be complemented by matching bracelets and rings. Her range of materials spans from yellow gold to unostentatious silver. Some pieces also flaunt the smoothly blending hues of various gold alloys to underline the wearer’s personality. In addition to her preference for precious metals and stones, as well as pearls, Stefanie Prießnitz’s’ work is characterized by textile surfaces and lively individual structures. With her Thread Rings, she has reified the idea of creating rings by twisting a thread around the finger. Some of them feature a diamond elegantly encircled by the metal thread, others an amethyst nestled in a sophisticated nest. Crafted from 750 gold or 925 silver, they form an appealing jewelry ensemble when worn with matching earrings.
