28th Zeughausmesse Berlin

Contemporary arts and crafts, art, and design at the Kühlhaus.

The 28th edition of the Zeughausmesse will once again open its doors at the Kühlhaus Berlin from November 13 to 16, 2025. Around 80 exhibitors will be showing and selling their works. Visitors can expect exquisite arts and crafts “with great attention to detail,” explains the organizer, adding: “The Zeughausmesse is a fixed highlight of Berlin’s cultural autumn and one of the major exhibitions for applied arts in Germany. It stands for quality, originality, and master craftsmanship – whether in glass, wood, metal, clay, leather, or textiles. Here, visitors will find works of art for everyday use that inspire wonder and enthusiasm and often become favorite pieces.”

Richard Schillings from Wensin, Schleswig-Holstein, is represented at the Zeughausmesse with his fine craftsmanship.

Once again this year, “Fresh Talent” is part of the fair – a format developed by the Zeughausmesse to promote young designers. Eleven newcomers who have been in the profession for a maximum of five years present their ideas and provide fresh impetus in the field of applied art.

Three special academic exhibitions enrich the Zeughausmesse 2025: Students from the University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Hildesheim will present the exhibition concept “Mehrbettzimmer” (shared room): a spectacular imaginary four-meter-high house. Pforzheim University will show project and final theses as well as the project “Staging and Engaging.” The Hanau Academy of Fine Arts will be represented with works by its students from all disciplines.

Local color and international flair in Berlin

The fair is predominantly characterized by exhibitors from Germany, around half of whom come from Berlin and Brandenburg. Artists from Denmark, France, Latvia, the Netherlands, and Austria provide international flair. The handmade works of members of the Berlin-Brandenburg Applied Arts Professional Association can also be found online: shop.zeughausmesse.de

Once again, the Zeughausmesse will take place at KühlhausBerlin at Luckenwalder Straße 3.

The Zeughausmesse is organized by the Berlin-Brandenburg Applied Arts Association. Cooperation partners are Art Aurea, Elovate Immobilien, Götze Gold GmbH, Goodlife-Wohndesign, Messe Handwerk und Design, Home, and the Lions Club Berlin-Preußen von Humboldt.
