Design and Visions at Inhorgenta Munich 2016

New concepts at Germany’s most important jewelry and watch trade fair

Again in 2016, Hall C2 at Inhorgenta Munich is Europe’s preeminent marketplace for modern jewelry design. Alongside many famed designers and manufacturers, exhibitors traditionally also include members of graduating classes from European academies, as well as other institutions and publishing houses. First-rate international artworks at Forum Silversmiths include creations by Ulla and Martin Kaufmann (Germany) and Koichi Io (Japan). The selection is further augmented by the Inhorgenta Munich Seminar Area and the Trend Forum. The seminars offer “well-reasoned answers and approaches toward the solution” of issues such as the digital revolution, changes in consumer behavior and social-media trends. The new name for Hall C2—Contemporary Design and Vision—is likewise promising. Art Aurea looks forward to your visit in Hall C2, Aisle E, Stand 503.

Live Fashion Show for “Fine Jewelry”

Hall B1, which now exclusively houses nothing but Fine Jewelry, has likewise been redesigned. Wristwatches have been relocated to Hall A1. With new interior décor, art installations, exotic gardens and a live fashion show, the Munich trade-fair company strives to provide “a unique trade-fair experience.” The entire ambience is illuminated in warm golden and bronze hues. The trade fair looks forward to the return of erstwhile exhibitors Henrich & Denzel, Schaffrath, and Ehinger-Schwarz. Christian Schaffrath and Heiko Nölke, managing directors of Henrich & Denzel, explain their decision: “We need a strong and very high-quality jewelry fair in Germany.”
