The Werkschule – Werkstatt für Kunst und Kulturarbeit e.V. annually invites ceramists to the International Ceramics Festival in the Oldenburg Palace gardens. The program includes a ceramic market, workshops, special exhibits and the conferral of special prizes. Expert jurors rely on strict quality criteria to choose the manufactories and ceramic artists who are invited to present their latest creations at the festival, where 120 masters of the ceramist’s art display their work at a specialized show. The spectrum ranges from objets d’art to high-quality tablewares. Prizes will be awarded to the three best ceramic creations.
