Vickermann & Stoya Bespoke Shoes
The secret of the success of Vickermann & Stoya, or the two shoemakers Matthias Vickermann and Martin Stoya, is their passion for handcrafted, custom-made shoes. Their open studio enables each customer to get an impression of the processes involved in handcrafting welted shoes. On top of the workshop, there is a shoe-cleaning parlor complemented with a bar, plus rooms for regular shoe-cleaning seminars and training courses, as well as other events held in collaboration with workshops specializing in other fields. A pair of half shoes made from calfskin costs 1700 € plus 600 € for the fabrication of test shoes and slatsl. Partly there is a surcharge shoes made from exotic leather and boots.
