Simon Freund
Contemporary elegance meets a wide and varied product range: Simon Freund’s focus is on creating disparate consumer goods characterized by his own individual style. He even redefines them by reviving them as eminently aesthetic and highly functional objects in monochrome colors and minimalist designs. Always committed to high quality, he nevertheless questions utility per se. Freund’s idea is to create a richly diversified collection that is complemented at irregular intervals and thus in a state of constant flux. For this purpose, he collaborates with local designers, artisans and manufactories. Bearing his roots in mind, he strives to keep the entire design and production process located within Germany. What looks like a motley assortment of products is a reflection of Freund’s uniquely personal understanding of design, aesthetics and functionality.
