Pura Ferreiro

Pura Ferreiro has devoted herself to the ancient granulation technique since 1990. The goldsmith and art historian´s creations recall the art of antiquity, wedded to the formal idiom of contemporary art jewelry. In addition to exquisite one-of-a-kind pieces, she also creates small series in silver, whose basic shapes have been borrowed from the plant world. Inspired by Chinese lantern plants, lotuses, lychees and other plants, her creations are compellingly lightweight, and are characterized by clear-cut designs. Pura Ferreiro showcases her jewelry at international exhibitions and trade fairs, and collaborates with numerous gallerists and jewelers all over the world.
