Since 2007 the creativity of Hanan Emquies and Diana Holstein has evolved solely around building their jewelry brand Emquies-Holstein. Before joining forces the couple has worked in the field of graphic design and building construction which can easily be seen in their designs. Hanan is fascinated by architecture and structures and continues to pursue new techniques to reach his specific goals. Diana on the other hand is working more minimalistic and symbolically with her design but what they both have in common is a desire to bend the rules of traditional jewelry design. Through the years concepts interpreted to jewelry collections have come from surprising, yet always fascinating places.
