The Zeughaus Fair 2016

Meeting Point for the Applied Arts in Berlin. December 8 to 11 in the Deutsches Historisches Museum.

The 20th Zeughaus Fair is organized by the Professional Association of Applied Arts Berlin-Brandenburg in cooperation with Deutsches Historisches Museum. “The fair presents to the public the works of artists who combine an exceptional artisanship with a keen aesthetic sense and conceptual stringency,” the fair’s organizers have declared.
Visitors have the opportunity of getting acquainted with the designers of multifarious works at 85 stands spread out over the inner courtyard of the Zeughaus. Characteristic of contemporary artisanship is both the mastery of the craft in the working of traditional materials and the innovative approach to unusual materials.
