Angela Huebel’s tireless creativity leads her to create a wide variety of rings, many adorned with pearls or gemstones but also plain and simple pieces with the warm glow of matte gold – the ring as a sculpture, minimalist in form yet created in a surprisingly diverse range of expressive variables. Angela Huebel decided to serially manufacture her pieces because “it would be a shame to implement a good design only once.” Her first between-fingers ring, which she brought to life whilst experimenting with spherical forms, became the basis for other models for two fingers. Her current collection includes many pieces sculpted as open rings with navette, arch or circles form. Her prize-winning works can be admired in public collections, for example in Munich’s City Museum, the Museums of Applied Arts in Hamburg, Berlin and Cologne and the Pinakothek der Moderne modern art museum in Munich. Retail prices range between 460 and 10000 €.
