Siebörger Handweberei, Anja Ritter

With an unerring sense for colors, surface textures and subtle nuances, Anja Ritter weaves scarves and shawls on her hand loom, using worsted linen, cashmere, silk or fine wool. She selects her yarns depending on the qualities and specialties offered by various countries of origin. Due to her constantly and intuitively creating variants, all her pieces are unique specimens, even if they are part of a specific collection. The shawls and scarves she creates at her Siebörger handweaving atelier serve as lightweight, warming wraps, and can also be worn as adornments, highlighting festive moments or enhancing everyday life with something special. In addition, Anja Ritter weaves interior textiles for private homes, public and sacral buildings.
