A trained carpenter and qualified wood/product designer, Andreas Mikutta is always looking for where the two fields intersect. Design provides the free, undogmatic approach, the craft underpins it all. Mikutta values working directly with the material and developing the shape in harmony with the materiality. „Natural materials with their smell, their haptic quality, the power that lies within them are the driving force in the creation of my works“, Mikutta says. He reaches for a simple interpretation of a theme with his products. The objects are intended to be inserted into existing environments and thus be so universal that they are not tied to a certain place, but are always in relation to people. Prices from 150 €.
