In her bangles of minimalist geometry and radiant colors Claudia Hoppe designs counterparts to the natural colors and lines of the human body. Classic materials like gold and silver become extremely flexible through the use of state-of-the-art technologies, making the pieces manage without elaborate clasps. While these sculptures for the wrist celebrate the organic through straight lines, her spatial installations to the subject of Chaos underscore the reduced geometry of modernist architecture. For Claudia Hoppe these contrasts make life into an adventure. Her challenge consists in letting us experience them through her works. Her bangles have won several awards and are nominated for the German Design Award 2017.
