Jörg Heinz

1968 Foundation of the company in Pforzheim by Jörg Heinz
2005 Martin Heinz becomes co-owner and managing director
2007 Inauguration of the new manufactory in Neulingen near Pforzheim

In 1974 Jörg Heinz went down in jewelry history by inventing the modern exchangeable jewelry clasp. Since then a necklace, whether crafted from pearls or any other material, can be converted in no time and without the slightest effort. Thus the jewelry wearer can adapt her necklace to any fashion or occasion while the clasping mechanism remains invisible, hidden inside the clasp. The modern jewelry manufactory has long since been offering a wide variety of clasps that appeal to different types of women and meet any need that arises when it comes to adorning oneself: featuring diamonds or colored gemstones, coral or pearls and an impressive range of different shapes. The new Mystery Sphere caused a sensation at the major jewelry fairs in 2009. Equipped with an innovative mechanism it presents itself as a veritable “artist in metamorphosis”.
